GearUp American samoa Biennial Report narrative
Section 404(G)(b) of the GEAR UP statute requires grantees to complete a Biennial evaluation of the GEAR UP project's activities and services. According to the statue, this evaluation report, which is submitted every other year, becomes part of GEAR UP American Samoa's official file. The GEAR UP Biennial Report 1 was submitted December 1, 2008 and Biennial Report 2 was submitted December 1, 2010.
The ongoing assessment of the impact of GEAR UP American Samoa's activities and services is pivotal to the success of the GEAR UP programs. This ongoing evaluation guides grantees in modifying activities or services that are not resulting in a positive impact on students, parents, and teachers.
